The hostel was a fantastic place to volunteer. This was my first volunteering experience in South America. Señora Silvia is a warm and welcoming host. Junior and Sofi will help you with anything and can give great recommendations for exploring the surrounding area! The work is pretty simple and the hours fair. Silvia was also very flexible in allowing me to work a bit extra one evening in order to give me an extra free day to do the Santa Cruz Trek. I cannot recommend the hostel enough to any volunteer looking for a volunteering position in a cozy hostel.
