The Experience

I created my little piece of paradise in Montenegro by renovation a 400 year old stone house with beautiful views on the adriatic sea and Mountains, turning into a Bar and Coworking Space. You can check it out on Google by looking at the website or Instagram page, searching for Montenegro Tower. You will also find it on Google Maps to check logistics.

I had a lovely time volunteering at the host! Chris was lovely, and took me around to see some local sights at the beginning of my stay. You kind of share his space but have your own room to sleep and he is friendly and accommodating. The support you offer is general garden work & hours were as agreed upon. It's in a sleepy little town in the hills outside of Bar and is a beautiful little place to stop for a few days.

I really enjoyed staying and working at the host! Most of the work I did was cleaning and gardening, which was relatively easy. Chris was very flexible with the hours I worked and was also very kind and accommodating. Due to the circumstances at the time of my stay, I was given my own private room complete with a bed, bathroom, and furniture, which was really nice. Chris also showed me some amazing spots along the coast for snorkelling and cave diving which was so fun!! The bar opens in the evenings and can get very lively so it's the perfect opportunity to meet others.
