The Experience

IntiRumi Inn is a boutique eco-hotel in Caraz, Peru, rated #1 on TripAdvisor and Booking. Our organic garden provides fresh ingredients for our farm-to-table restaurant, and our bar has won the 2nd national prize for sustainable cocktails. We're looking for enthusiastic, hands-on volunteers to join our small team in a warm, multicultural environment (USA/French/Peruvian team) at the foot of the Cordillera Blanca.

The lodge Rummi is a beautiful place, and I'm grateful to everyone I met there. Unfortunately, my experience was affected by the current volunteer coordinator. The organization and tasks didn't align with what we discussed before my arrival. I even had to suggest my own tasks, but they were never properly followed through & the communication also became unprofessional, which made me feel questioned rather than supported. I also noticed a high staff turnover during my stay under the current management. I'm also grateful to the Worldpackers Support team for supporting me quickly and professionally!
