This experience was a gift from the paths. Wonderful place with a wonderful host; everyone had a big heart. I worked with the host and it was peaceful for me, I slept well, ate well, and I was treated with a lot of respect and love. It is a safe space for women who travel alone. Anânia and everyone at the hostel were family to me, I felt at home, it was so precious! I already miss it and I will definitely come back ❤️

My volunteer experience at the host was very special!
Olinda is really a beautiful, cheerful and lively city.
The Historic Center is very interesting and full of culture.
Regarding volunteering, the women's room is great and the stay was very pleasant.
The work with the host is heavy and requires willingness, but it also teaches a lot and provides a huge learning experience.
And the food is wonderful!
I felt welcomed and part of the family and I especially thank Analice and Deise, I will carry them in my heart!

It was an incredible experience, Anania is one of the most humane people I have met in my life; whatever she can do to help, she will do; she has a huge heart; the other staff members also go above and beyond; everyone does their best so that every volunteer feels truly at home. I hope to return soon, because to me you are my family in Pernambuco.

My experience at Hostel Divino Carmo was very enriching, I had a true immersion in the local culture. The host has an amazing energy, is very welcoming, respectful, and always fair with the volunteer schedules. The hostel also operates as a vegan restaurant, so during my entire stay I could enjoy a delicious breakfast and lunches, prepared with a lot of care by Dayse and Elaine, who are also wonderful people.
I felt at home, as part of the family, and I am very grateful for everything I lived, carried this experience with me with a lot of care.
