This was the best project I could have found to give me an introduction to Australia! It was really fun to be part of such an important time for the island, and learn some really handy skills along the way. Kat is an amazing host and is always caring and helping whenever she can! Her meals are absolutely wonderful and if you want something away from the noise of everyday life, this is your place. :)

We had an amazing time with Kat at the guest house. We felt completely at home there and comfortable, she provides and makes incredible food with lots of selections in the pantry and genuine care and effort in regards to dietary requirements. the work is fun and fulfilling, Kat does a great job of tailoring the volunteering work to your skill set. She is incredibly relaxed and flexible with when you decide to work and take days off, leaving you in control of your schedule. We loved seeing all the animals of Raymond island. Thanks Kat, amazing to meet you. We had a great time.

I had a lovely time at Burrunan retreat. Kat is very kind and accommodating and I felt right at home and was very well looked after. The property is beautiful with lots of friendly birds and koalas that like to supervise you while you work :)

Had a great time here Kathryn is super friendly and super welcoming, she cooks amazing diners and lunches and provides very well for the volunteers, if your an early riser I suggest waking up to watch beautiful sun rises every morning with a coffee in hand, meet some friendly birds (Ozzy the kookaburra) who you can hand feed if you find any large insects, access to kayaks and fishing equipment if that's something you enjoy and plenty of kangaroos and koalas on the island to see while you enjoy your stay
