The app photos are misleading: only a tiny room and a very dirty garden toilet. On our workday, only Romanian was spoken, and the English-speaking contact person was not there. Whenever we didn't understand something, we got derogatory looks, and explanations were refused ("there's nothing to explain"). Despite our motivation, we were told how terrible we were and that they needed "real workers," followed by xenophobic comments against Germans.
Upon leaving, the host tried to coerce us with a document prohibiting reviews (€300 penalty, photo ban). We refused to sign and left immediately.

We had a great time in Continești! The room was adorable and we loved watching the sunsets on the balcony. The breakfast was good, we especially loved the home made jam! We also got to eat lunch almost every day which was a nice surprise! The work is quite intense since you're expected to do the work as quickly as possible. We didn't have a set schedule but the working hours were well respected! Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to other travellers!

The hotel was beautiful and the room I stayed was cozy. Working hours turned out as promised. Breakfast was really good and in addition, they provided lunch almost every day, even though it wasn't mentioned in the advertisement.

It was an intense experience full of learning. The family was very welcoming in many ways, offering breakfast every day and, often, lunch and dinner, in addition to some moments of leisure and socializing. I am grateful for the opportunity and for everything they did for me. For future travelers, I recommend clarifying well before arrival the tasks, schedules, days off, and expectations about the pace of work, as the cleaning can be quite intense and communication can be challenging at times due to the language. Overall, I carry with me good memories and learnings from this experience 😊
