Dimitra was a caring and attentive host who always ensures her guests and volunteers are well looked after. She was always expressing gratitude for the marketing support that I provided her.
Outside of marketing and social media, I helped with light housekeeping and kitchen tasks when there were guests. Each person who stayed with us was warm and welcoming in their own ways, and definitely enhanced my time at the garden.
Staying at Ariadne's Garden is its own unique and spiritual experience, made possible thanks to Dimitra's tireless effort. Oh, and she's an incredible chef!

Surrounded by nature, beautiful mountain/sea landscapes, sunset/sunrise right from the property! Town/beaches is 15 min walk away
Work hours were fair/agreed to, you can shift it around as you need to plan your day, I helped with IG (creating videos and content), did a bit of light cleaning to prepare the guest rooms.
Got to do yoga/art sessions in exchange for an extra 1 hr of work - very worth it!!

Michaela is an amazing person and experienced professional! She helped in social media and marketing advice with a grounded and responsible spirit. Therefore I could trust and focus on my work. As a person she is uniquely warmhearted and kind, responsible, tidy and honest. As a professional she was a gift for my business with her comittment and professionalism. The place is beautiful, and the host can be kind, but my experience was difficult. I changed my plans to arrive early at the host's request. I sometimes felt pressured and judged while trying to work carefully. I worked 32 hours despite an agreement of 25, without acknowledgment. The food arrangement was unclear, and I bought my own groceries. I signed up for a month but was asked to leave after working for one week, at the end of a shift. Better communication, realistic expectations, and practical support would have helped. I've done many work exchanges and haven't had this kind of tension.
