The Experience

Emma and Pere with two children: Carla, 8, and Jordi, 5. We live on a very small farm in the Pre-Pyrenees. We have a flock of 20 sheep, chickens, and a vegetable garden. We love our home! We enjoy taking care of the animals and we like to share our home with friendly people who want to learn and contribute their culture and knowledge!

Where do I even begin… Emma, Pere, Carla and Jordi are a lovely family that truly create the feeling of a second home. From the very first second, I felt much welcomed, which never changed during my stay. The tasks were simple and not too demanding, things you can easily manage on your own. I was always offered to join them on excursions to the nearby cities, which was kind and including. Though my Spanish is not the best, it was no problem to communicate and I would even say that my Spanish has improved! The food was also amazing, Emma is a great cook and I always couldn't get enough of it 😅

Thank you so much to Emma, Pere and the kids. I loved volunteering here. A beautiful place, simple tasks, and an incredible family. I’ll come back to see them, friends.

Emma and Pere welcomed me from the very first moment with a lot of kindness and good disposition. If you like nature, being truly disconnected and learning many things about the countryside is the perfect place. I felt really comfortable and the food was also very good! A hug to Emma, Pere and the little ones❤️the house❤️the house❤️the house
