A truly magical experience, immersing yourself in the jungle to teach yoga and salsa to foreigners with whom I connected thanks to English and the opportunity provided by Tucán Lodge for cultural exchange. You can join the activities alongside the tourists as long as you do not interfere with the activities you are to carry out. I also helped in the dining room and with cleaning. The food is delicious and the place is wonderful.

It was one of the best experiences, full of learning and lots of color. I had the opportunity to immerse myself in the local culture, discover its gastronomy and acquire deep knowledge about flora and fauna, especially birds and insects. Waking up and listening to the birds at dawn is unmissable to connect deeply with myself. The food was excellent, the facilities comfortable and the team demonstrated great professionalism. However, I consider it important to point out that the working hours were longer than those previously established.

It was one of the best experiences of my life. From the first day I felt like family: the whole team is respectful and kind. The food is spectacular. You learn a lot about the Amazonian fauna and flora, sustainability, and jungle life. Waking up each morning to the sound of the animals is something unique. It is also a great opportunity to practice languages, as travelers from all over the world arrive. Sharing meals with the staff was one of my favorite moments. The energy of the place is so special that you wouldn't want to leave ever. I would totally recommend it.

Volunteering at the reserve at first was very challenging, with new things to learn and put into practice, but very rewarding; we learned to manage a space, a place where we had the opportunity, together with my partner, to make the place more welcoming for the travelers who pass through the reserve.
Without a doubt, a great volunteering experience, many thanks to Gilver, Diego, Darío and the rest of the staff who make up the space.

The experience at the reserve was very enriching, from the tasks to the deep connection with the habitat. I am enormously grateful to the people in charge who facilitated our stay and helped us with everything we needed. The tasks are fairly simple: feeding, cleaning, helping with laundry and maintenance. You have the entire afternoon free to do whatever you want, the included meal is very tasty. The facilities are nice and comfortable; only mosquitoes at night are a bit bothersome. The best part is the full view of the Amazon, the birds, and the sky. Thank you very much for everything!!
