I can say without a doubt that, for a month, I found my second home in Venezuela. Misael is a great guy, and his mom, Hortencia, and his sister, Victoria, are wonderful women who made me feel at home. The team, formed by Evelyn, Willmary and MoisΓ©s, also creates a fantastic atmosphere.
The Hacienda is a place with a lot of charm, ideal for mental rest. The tasks are not difficult or exhausting, and the volunteers have a lot of freedom. Everything is covered and you can also enjoy all the attractions at no cost. In addition, the food is delicious. I recommend!

We spent pleasant days at La Hacienda; Vic and Mrs. HortΓͺncia were excellent with us. Our activities were to help on weekends and holidays at the La Hacienda restaurant. We practiced Spanish with the tourists, and tried many traditional Venezuelan foods. We had a true cultural immersion. The internet on the day we were there was basic and everyone did their best to ensure we had access, even though to work and access sites, for example, it took long or wouldnβt open. I would recommend this experience; the place is close to the Tovar colony and not far from the capital Caracas.

I liked the experience even more, they are very kind people, they taught us Venezuelan cuisine, they took us out to explore, and we talked a lot with local residents, an incredible experience, we felt at home.
