The Experience

We have a large garden and grow vegetables for the kitchen. We are improving/landscaping the property to attract birds and wildlife. The work will include garden maintenance/planting, small garden structure projects, fencing and tree planting. Work arrangements will have flexibility to allow for time to enjoy the area. Meals will combine pre-prepared and cook yourself food.

My time with Greg & Mary was exceptional, they welcomed me with respect and appreciation! Greg taught me about the land and animals, showed me around, worked with me on scheduling and helped me get started and guide me as visa holder! I got a wide variety of experience from hospitality to cutting down trees and working in the garden. The accommodation was wondertul, a private building with a fridge and appliances, hot shower and laundry, with a TV! Fresh, delicious meals daily with plenty of snacks. Truly incredible people and an incredible place to visit!! Highly recommend!!! <3

My arrangements with Greg and Marie were very smooth. the farm is a tranquil country town, and their land provides a wonderful space for birds and wildlife. I helped with planting, weeding, and pruning. The self-contained accommodation was great, with plenty of privacy and space. Greg and Marie are pleasant, easy-going hosts who made my stay enjoyable with trips into town, bike rides, and wonderful home-cooked meals. Highly recommended!
