I deeply enjoyed my time at the lodge!! Manish and his family are the most gentil people. I spent my time taking care of all sorts of beneficial plants, which are supposed to grow at a permaculture farm very soon. It was very interesting to lern about their qualities and effects on the human body. It opens my eyes regarding organic medicine and Ayurveda. I also took part in designing the hostel with painting and crafting. Everything there is full of art. I learned so much about the Nepali way of living and enjoyed the best food. I will never forget this!! thank you so much! :)

The time I spent with Manish and his family was truly special. My tasks were extremely varied and exciting. I learned a lot about different medicinal herbs and sustainable cultivation, and we talked a lot about ethical, political and cultural issues. This stay broadened my perspective on many topics. The place Manish has created encourages creativity and sharing your own ideas, and you really enjoy your work there. My daily task was to water the plants. In addition, we did some really nice things together, the food was incredibly delicious, and you just felt at home.
