Can't recommend this hostel enough. First time for my girlfriend and I volunteering in a hostel and it was great. The work is chilled and fun and you get to interact with the guests in a fun way.
Above all though the staff had the best vibe, especially the bar, kitchen and restaurant staff however the reception and cleaners were all great too I just didn’t spend as much time with them. Was a great opportunity to improve Spanish and everyone was so patient as well.

Had an amazing volunteer experience at Costeño River, Nena and the team are wonderful people and make everything super fun! The work is usually in the bar and restaurant helping with orders and putting on activities for the guests, it's fun work if you are a people person and like to meet people from around the world!! Absolutely recommend !

I was a new experience because your in the middle of the jungle, the volunteer team and the host Nena they are awesome, it was such as good energy coming from their, the owners Andrea and Santiago, so communicative and very friendly people with a good energy and leadership, the places is big enough for stay cozy in the pool or in each corner, they have hot and cold water which is great and the don’t have AC in our volunteers room but we have it a fan, in this occasion I experiments a good time but is like a minimum details make the experience not good at all, but I communicated everything. ✨

Without a doubt, an unforgettable and totally comfortable experience in every sense of the word, girl, in addition to being our host she became my friend whom I will always carry in my heart, volunteering was great, the tasks and the schedules are very simple and the staff at the place are great people with whom I could form a real connection, so more than a volunteering it became a home full of laughter, stories and learning
