The Experience

We open the doors of our home to welcome an enthusiastic volunteer who wants to immerse herself in the local culture in exchange for helping us improve our English. If you speak English fluently, have teaching skills, and are looking for a warm, safe, and family-like environment, we'd love to meet you!\nWe offer an initial stay of 1 month, with the possibility of extending the time if the living arrangements and the exchange go smoothly. A truly enjoyable and enriching experience that I would undoubtedly repeat! The job involves teaching basic/intermediate English, primarily through conversation, to the members of the family, mainly the father, from around 4.00 pm to 7.00 pm, during which you also learn loads of interesting facts about Latin culture. The flat, where you have your own room, is right in the city centre, which means you get to experience Madrid life to the full. Thank you to the dad, the mum and their two daughters for being so inclusive, flexible, open-minded, respectful and welcoming!

Genuinely one of the loveliest families I've ever met; everyone is incredibly welcoming and kind. An incredibly enriching and rewarding experience, and so welcoming. Would love to have continued and plan to stay in contact. Amazing people.
