It was a very special experience! I could be around the animals, milk cows, pick peas, help in the restaurant and in the bioconstruction of the earthen house. The experience with bioconstruction surprised me a lot; it's the kind of work that makes us rethink our relationship with nature and awakens a desire to live more consciously and sustainably.
It was also a delight to try the country meals prepared by Eliana. She has a good heart, and Marcelo is very kind and always has a smile on his face. I am grateful for everything I lived and learned!

I had an incredible experience at the Guimarães site building a wattle-and-daub chalet. Eliana and Marcelo are very dear and attentive, making us feel at home. I shared the farm with other volunteers who also contributed a lot to meaningful exchanges. The site is beautiful, full of animals, and Eliana's home-cooked food nourishes the soul. I left this volunteer program with a heavy heart at the farewell, and I hope to be able to return to see the chalet finished ✨

The volunteering was wonderful! From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by Eliana and Marcelo. Simple people, full of ideas and with a lot of affection for everything they do. I carried out many activities with them. From bioconstruction to helping with the restaurant service that serves food on Sundays. The working hours and days off were respected! I am very grateful for this opportunity and I highly recommend it to anyone interested. It was all very good!!

Hosts are polite, friendly and welcoming people. We volunteers had the opportunity to build a mountain chalet, and it was a unique experience Clay, Bamboo, Wood and Claw. On Sundays the family restaurant is open and we can help, we have 2 days off in the week to relax, Wi-Fi, pool and the beloved animals I learned a little how to drive a Maldemaq tractor, I developed my Spanish, some photography knowledge, even a jiu-jitsu class with the volunteers. I could also train German. Anyway, there were so many things. I'll miss you all ♥️
