The work on the Bjeshkaza house is not the easiest worldpacker's you can find. But if you are looking for the most raw and local experience, this is the place to be. The family makes you feel like you are one of them, quickly immersing you into their vibrant rural lifestyle. Not only did I learn a lot about housekeeping and Albanian culture plus history, in someways I feel like I found another family on the other side of Balkan. I will be forever grateful for being able to experience Marsela, Mariela and everybody else. Faleminderit💗

We had an unforgettable stay with the guest house family! They welcomed us with open arms and true warmth. The food was delicious, accommodation cozy, and the breath-taking views of the Albanian Alps were everywhere you look. We also went on hikes during our free time - to the Blue eye and the waterfall. While the housekeeping work was sometimes tough, it was completely worth it. After our shifts, we loved chilling in the common areas, learning about Albanian history from the family, and simply enjoying. Thank you, the guest house family. This experience will forever stay in our hearts. <3

The host family is welcoming and very kind. The location of the guesthouse is also great, it's close to the waterfall, blue eye, both within a hour walk. It's easy enough to get to Theth aswell if you want to do the Valbone-Theth Hike. The work is slightly unorganized but it's perfect for you if you prefer a more easy going experience. Overall my experience with this guesthouse was positive, I will miss this place ☺️

Overall, I had a positive experience thanks to the family's kindness, hospitality, and the incredible natural surroundings. The location is ideal for hiking and enjoying nature. However, the accommodation could be improved: I changed rooms several times, some were not very clean or comfortable, and storage space was limited. Work expectations should be clarified from the beginning. Food was homemade but repetitive, and the location is very remote, with limited shops nearby. Wi-Fi was also unreliable. Despite these challenges, I appreciated the family and would recommend the experience to those
