I had a great experience staying with Phil! He is helpful and generous and does everything to ensure his guests are taken care of, comfortable, and safe. The volunteering was laid-back, with a good balance of work and free time. I really enjoyed the walks, gardening, lawn bowls, and good conversations. During my stay, I also had plenty of time to explore Dublin and take weekend trips around Ireland. Overall, I'm incredibly grateful for the experience and for Phil! I would recommend staying here to anyone considering it!

Really great experience at Home and the host. A positive and friendly environment and Philip taught me many things about plants and nature as well some excellent mentoring advice about life's various challenges. This was my 2nd visit here and I have learned so much and I am very grateful. Great chats and fun in a safe and secure home. I couldn't ask for more!!

It was truly an amazing experience, Phil is very nice and welcoming person, he's always there to help you, if you have any questions or need any help. We did a lot of walks and talks, evening chat sessions while listening to our favourite music. He also taught me to ride an e-bike and play law balling!!! How awesome is that?! I enjoyed helping in the host and it was nice to learn something new. He really helped me a lot, and for that I'm beyond grateful. I absolutely recommend staying with Philip, if you want a one in a lifetime experience!

The project is a really great experience. I have been given permission to stay another month and happy to do so. the project is amazing and I really enjoyed working with the plants. Facilities were excellent and I had everything I needed to make me comfortable. Myself and the host had a 90 minute walk most days and the surrounding area is great to explore and he also taught my much about the project and horticulture. The evening chats were fun and the Irish summer weather was surprisingly warm!

The experience with Phil was exactly what he had communicated beforehand. There are no fixed working hours, but rather a go-with-the-flow experience. We had many very interesting conversations and talked a lot about music, films, and current events. I cooked and baked a lot and we did trips and walks together. The location is really great, so you can do day trips on weekends. In general, you can discuss everything with Phil and he also tries to make your experience as pleasant as possible.
