The Experience

We are a gay couple who run a rural guesthouse in the south of Spain. We're looking for enthusiastic, energetic help with cleaning, pool care and assisting guests. You must be friendly, flexible, and comfortable living in a gay / gay-friendly environment. Days can start early and end late, but there's always plenty of time to relax and enjoy the guesthouse facilities, and our peaceful Spanish countryside.

I really enjoyed my experience at the guest house. Mark and Tom are very kind and welcoming hosts. The work is simple and, depending on how you organize your time, you can often finish in the morning and have most of the afternoon free. It's a great place to disconnect, enjoy nature and slow down. It's also a social experience, with plenty of small talk and interaction with guests, while still having your own space. I'd recommend it to open-minded, respectful, sociable people and animal lovers who enjoy a relaxed, natural and LGBTQ+ friendly environment.

What an experience!\nWas so lucky to have volunteered at the Finca for 6weeks, it flew by so quickly and I didn’t want to leave! Mark and Tom are incredible hosts, they made me feel apart of their family, treated me with so much kindness and mentored me through my stay. The work was enjoyable and I had a routine that suited me and my needs, I would definitely recommend any travellers to volunteer here😊 I will truly miss the time spent in the blissful Spanish mountains, watching the sunset every evening surrounded by great company and the cutest Dogs (Homer and Otis)! Hope to come back soon!
