Fryslân was so beautiful. The work was fulfilling in the garden and house and the hosts were genuine and awesome. They have cute bunnies, a jacuzzi, and bikes to ride! Going to the sea to learn about the history and to see the seals in the rehabilitation center was so cool. We shared family dinners and stories and made our own breakfast and lunch with food from the fridge and pantry. This stay was cozy and sweet, even with sleeping in the camper van, all was provided and we had an amazing time and would definitely come back. Go volunteer here andwatch the sunset at the canal it is wonderful.

As our first Worldpackers, this host family was welcoming, inclusive, and made our stay very enjoyable. They are flexible, social, and easygoing people that make sure you are having a good time! Work hours were independently led and they stuck to the four hour agreement. The tasks were enjoyable. We picked fruit from the beautiful garden, along with painting the interior of the house, and some light laundry. Fryslân is a beautiful place with trails & many cute little animals. We accompanied them to Groningen to a dance event, it was sm fun hanging out with the whole family! You will love it:)

I really enjoyed my stay here! The family was incredibly welcoming and hospitable, and they did so much for us. I'm truly grateful for everything. The work never really felt hard. We harvested fruit, collected seeds, trimmed branches, and processed the produce, and I genuinely enjoyed every part of it. They even lent us bikes, which was great for getting around. Thank you so much again for such an amazing experience!

It was wonderful. Whole family is extremly welcoming and everyone is so interesting in their own different way. You will learn a lot about frisian culture, gardening and multiple unique hobbies. Food is amazing, everyone speaks perfect english and work hours are flexible. I strongly recommend visiting them. You will earn unforgettable memories and have an amazing stay🩷

Thanks to your lovely family, we really enjoyed staying here and learning about Fryslân’s culture and history, experiencing everyday life, and connecting with nature and people. While staying here for a week, we did gardening, including potting plants and pulling out grass, which was our task. On our days off, they took us to wooden shoes museum, windmills, and the sea, which are all related to Fryslân’s culture. They were always kind to us and open-minded, and we could also share our cultures and histories with each other. Everything is memorable, and we will definitely come back here again♡♡
