Alex and Edward were exceptional hosts! Our tasks included helping around the property: renovating the old drain system, digging trenches (weeding, shoveling...), building the foundation of an oven, sorting vegetables. The accomodation gave us a few challenges but you get used to it quickly as the tasks and company are well worth it ;) The hosts emphasized the importance of a sustainable lifestyle, humanity and harmony, being in contact with nature. With them we had really nice conversations and moments. We couldn't recommend this more. They're understanding, passionate, and good humans :)

This was a truely eye opening and amazing experience. We saw first hand how even the most smart and adaptable are struggling under climate changes in addition to the apocalyptic smoke of the wildfires nearby. Ed and Alex were so kind and accommodating to us, treating us like family and offering the most delicious vegetarian lunches. Both very well travelled with such interesting stories and particuarly ed was notably patient and positive teacher with his work. We felt safe and comfortable instantly and were able to enjoy a beautiful place as well as get our hands dirty!

Absolutely amazing experience, the hosts are very well travelled and understanding kind hearted people, I recommend this stay as you really get in touch with nature and learn about all the things they are doing on the farm and extra tips they give you along the way, they are very considerate with the hours, if its hot you can start earlier so you avoid the heat and if its raining you would most likely work in the tunnels, i have no complaints.. they treated me very well and i instantly felt comfortable there, i cant wait to go back some day

We had a really wonderful time at 1 Place de Puits! From the day we arrived we really felt a part of the family. Alex and Ed were so accommodating and their girls were a joy to be around. Work on the farm was very manageable as it could all be easily adapted to suit different people. Ed was really great about making us feel supported with things we weren’t 100% confident with. We both learned a lot and had fun in the process. Expect delicious vegetarian and vegan lunches, deep and insightful conversations and a beautiful and peaceful space to connect with nature. Thank you Alex and Ed!

We had a great experience at the project! The work on the farm was really interesting and because of the current season quite relaxed. Through the various tasks, we learned so much about gardening and sustainable farm work. Ed and Alex are incredibly kind and helpful, and their kids are super sweet. The area is quiet and rural, and easy to explore if you have a car. Overall we had a great stay, highly recommended!
