Amazing experience working with Abedi and the project team, and learning from many other refugee-led orgs in the Kakuma refugee camp. I learned so much from the project team. Abedi also organized all the transportation in and around Kakuma and took great care of me during my time. I wish I could have stayed longer, so I hope to definitely return sometime soon. The only thing to note is that volunteers will need to provide for their own accommodations in a hotel in Kakuma town and will also need to pay for or arrange their own transportation from Lodwar airport 2 hours north to Kakuma.
