The hostel was more than a packer; it was a home, a productive workplace and continuous learning. There were three months of networking, local partnerships, opportunities that contributed greatly to backpacking, personal projects and to my life. Joelise and Rodrigo were always helpful, accommodating, and, above all, partners in any situation in which I needed support during this period, and they are friends I will carry with me for life. Thank you very much for this period at Lapa, at the hostel and at the restaurant. One of the best packers I had the opportunity to undertake on this backpacking journey. Thank you! 🙏

Realmente louvável. Jô e Rodrigo são extremamente respeitosos, tranqüilos e educados. As atividades do voluntariado são bastante simples, bem organizadas e coerentes. A acomodação oferecida pelo Hostel é realmente ótima (quarto limpo, asseado e organizado). o hostel, assim como, a cidade Lapa é um incrível lugar para conhecer. Altamente recomendável. Muito obrigado, pela experiência.

Tuve el honor de vivir mi primer voluntariado en the hostel ☺️,es un lugar bello con Jo como anfitriona que desde el día 1 te presenta a su familia y te trata con mucho respeto y cariño. Pude aprender cómo trabajar en recepción, logré mejorar mucho mi portugués , la habitación de voluntarios es muy cómoda, aseada y bonita. También Jo está abierta a escuchar ideas , hicimos un evento donde compartimos sobre mi cultura, me llevaron de paseo y quedé enamorada de la tranquilidad de la ciudad . Lo súper recomiendo!!! Abrazos a toda la familia the hostel ❤️

O the hostel foi a minha primeira experiência, um lugar tranquilo realmente pra se desconectar da cidade. A anfitriã Jo é sua família são pessoas legais sempre tentando te fazer parte :) . Os horarios e folgas são bem respeitados, en quanto as tarefas eu cheguei em plena mudança e tive muitos imprevistos. Mas com certeza vocês vão chegar em um bom momento , se você tá procurando um lugar tranquilo o the hostel e um bom lugar pra começar a sua viagem.
