We are a retreat center located in a beautiful natural setting in the Elqui Valley, Chile. We have a space surrounded by nature and peace. We are looking for a couple of volunteers who can stay in our space and help us take care of it from September 8 to 25, while we travel. During our absence, the most important thing will be to look after the space and our 5 cats and 4 dogs, ensuring that they are well.

It was the best volunteering experience. ❤️ Lilia is a cheerful and warm-hearted person. She welcomed us with open arms. We felt at home from the very first moment and we shared very deep conversations with her. She has a lot of wisdom and inspires with her life and way of thinking.
The place, the house at the foot of Mamalluca Mountain has a lot of energy. It is a powerful and beautiful place. Since you are far from the city, you forget everything and enjoy being in nature.
The dogs and cats are all very friendly; they trusted us a lot.

Our days on this project were beautiful! We helped in the construction of a room at the Center.. we worked about 4 to 5 hours a day, always followed by a delicious lunch prepared by Lilia. The room is beautiful, it has a private bathroom and kitchen. The surroundings are nice and with a view of the mountains.

The experience with Lilia was incredible!! Lilia is a very pleasant person willing to share and teach, and she also has many stories about the Elqui Valley. It was a pleasure to stay for a week in the house that Lilia offered; it is very comfortable and the meals prepared by Lilia are exquisite. The chores are calm and well respected. My first experience as a volunteer was at the center. I arrived a bit shy when facing something new, however, after a short time that change came thanks to the hostesses and the place. Lilia and Mayling greeted me with energy and a good attitude; they were always cheerful and willing to listen to me and share their stories, even though some days the fatigue was great. They provided me with a beautiful place to sleep, as well as space to connect with myself and nature through activities at the center and outdoors. I am very grateful for the time we shared.
