My stay at the center was fantastic. Joaquin and his crew — made up of the mom and dad dogs, 6 puppies (which I hope stay at the center forever 🤣), and 2 cats — made the experience perfect, surrounded by the nature of the southern Dominican Republic. It's the perfect place to dive deeper into Taíno Caribbean culture and traditions, and of course to learn about ceramics and reconnect with nature. Joaquin is a very friendly and welcoming artist. Highly recommended.

My experience at the Centro Ibakari was wonderful, I learned a lot about ceramics and the Taínos culture, Joaquín is incredible, he was extremely kind and pleasant to spend time with, the center is enormous and full of nature, I highly recommend it for travelers who want to connect and have tranquil moments; Regarding the activities, they were very simple, and I learned a lot.
