My experience at the hostel was insane!! Thank you for everything, Vicente and Katia; I'm already missing Elvis, Pituca, Nina and Nino!! The house becomes your home and the hospitality is constant! 🫰🏽

I LOVED my experience at the hostel! It was the best volunteering I've ever done. I met a hostel run by an amazing family, in the paradise Alter do Chão. I created content for the hostel, they are very flexible and let me exercise my creativity on the projects, the social media routine is flexible, as I captured a little of everything, I wrote scripts, did recordings and edits. I also wanted to help by socializing and encouraging guests to participate in the events. It was really cool, breakfast is amazing, they treat us as if we were guests. I loved everything and I want to come back a lot.

My experience at Lavi Hostel was amazing! The house is very quiet and welcoming, run by Kátia, Vicente and Ibrahim. I spent a month living with them and I felt at home. I worked 5 hours a day (10 am to 3 pm), 5 days a week with 2 flexible days off. I was the only volunteer most of the time, which allowed me to form a deep friendship with Ibrahim, one I will carry with me for life. Volunteering is about this: living in a beautiful village facing a wonderful river with sweet waters and genuinely connecting with people. They are the best part and bring the place to life.
