My time in Akuressa was so special. Sahan is an amazing host, and is so kind and I felt at home immedietly. The teaching was so valuable and I really enjoyed creating connections with the children, I learnt so much from them too! I made great friendships during my time here, and I know one day I will come back

Our time at the project was an amazing experience. We felt part of the family from the first day. We helped in the preschool and gave English classes, where the children were so sweet, sometimes little troublemakers but always eager to learn. The way the children connect with us and contribute in their future, was truly special! Sahan and Dinu create a caring and calm environment with a nice cultural exchange. Their son Minu is also lovely and fun to be around. Thank you so much for your kindness and openness. We will remember this time with a big smile and warmth. 🌿 No goodbyes, only byes!

The host needs a lot of improvement-at arrival I was supposed to be picked up -I was out of the airport in exactly one hour- then I called the host -he said he was arriving in five minutes - ultimately he arrived 45 minutes late -one hour and forty five minutes after my flight had landed - for the next day he did not communicate anything - when I asked him that I tag with other French volunteers and go where they go- very vague-ulitimately I did not go - I went out to explore -I was greeted by barking street dogs - for the 3pm class which he said was compulsory he took us by his car on the

Thank you for your honest feedback. I’m really sorry for the inconvenience you experienced, especially with the airport pickup and the confusion around communication. That was my mistake, and I truly apologize for it.
I’ve taken this experience as a learning moment and will make sure to improve my organization and communication so this doesn’t happen again. Thank you for your patience, and I wish you the very best on your travels.
