Staying with Freddy and his family was an absolute dream. Freddy is so knowledgeable and passionate about the local flora and fauna, it truly made the few days I was able to spend with him feel incredibly educational. Likewise, his wife, always prepared the most delicious, filling meals that I am still thinking about. Huge thank you to the both of them for welcoming myself and the group to their little slice of paradise.

I dont usually write reviews, so im not good at it. But this trip was very informative and fun! I learned a lot about sea turtles and about the bugs and monkeys. It was fun meeting new people and the hosts were absolutely fantastic. Everyone was friendly and kind, the place was really nice and I loved hearing the roosters and chickens and the many birds. The place was beautiful and the boat rides were really fun. The whole experience was fantastic and meeting other people who loved bugs and animals gave me insight in what I want to do in my life.

This was such a wonderful experience, and I really enjoyed getting to connect with nature and all of the people involved in the project. Emma and Freddy are so kind and knowledgeable and made us feel right at home. The food was also amazing! Being fully immersed in the rainforest was so special, and we got to see lots of different species of animals (monkeys, birds, insects, a sloth, etc). I also loved getting to help out with the forest restoration. 10/10 experience and I wish I could come back already!
