The Experience

Do you like getting your hands dirty and seeing a space come alive with your care? We are looking for people with skills in gardening, painting, small repairs, renovations, carpentry, metalworking, and related activities to join our project. It was my first experience as a volunteer and it was very positive. In addition to knowing the routine of a guesthouse and having contact with the hospitality area, this experience had a significant social impact on me, with new experiences, learnings and contact with different people. It broadened my view of volunteering, tourism and hospitality.

It was a very rich experience and a lot to learn. No is a sweetheart of a person, very receptive and welcoming. The inn is very beautiful and everyone who works there is very nice. In addition, the breakfast is spectacular. It is very well located, very close to the center of the village. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to know Ibitipoca and have a local experience.

Working with No was a fantastic opportunity to revive skills forgotten in childhood and adolescence. It gave me total freedom and flexibility to put my personal touch in every corner of Madame Bistrô.

I felt like a kid playing with interior organization and color palettes.

The coffee is simply gorgeous. One of those little corners that we keep in our hearts forever.

A place that, for sure, will be etched in my collection of good memories ✨

Nô and his family are very welcoming and kind; they treated me very well and I was very happy during my volunteering in Ibitipoca. The tasks were carried out with ease, the schedules respected, and in my spare time I took the opportunity to get to know the park's trails, which are unmissable for anyone who loves nature. Grateful to Nô and his family for the great experience, and I hope to be able to return someday!! 😀

My experience at the inn was one of those that leave a mark on the heart ✨🌿 it's a place with a very special energy, surrounded by nature, peace and a genuine sense of welcome. The space is very well cared for, beautiful, and invites a true connection with the environment and with the people. Norilayde is a chapter apart: incredibly attentive, protective to the right measure, with a very active listening and always willing to help in everything, with attention and kindness rare to find. You can feel how much she dedicates herself to making sure everyone feels well. It was an exchange experience and a lot of learning 💜
