I had such a lovely time with Alex & his family at the host. They made me feel welcome and were always kind, fun & easy to be around. They were very supportive & caring throughout, which I really appreciated. They gave me plenty of creative freedom with the content I made, while also sharing any ideas or things they wanted included and showed their gratitude of the work I did. It felt really relaxed & balance The food was amazing, the restaurant is so pretty, the atmosphere was lovely and I genuinely felt part of the family while I was there. I’ll miss them all a lot ❤️

This was such a wonderful experience, and the host family truly made me feel like part of the family. The atmosphere was warm and full of kindness. Alex is always willing to help and makes sure you feel confortable. He is open to listening and always tries to make your experience even better. I had never worked as a waitress before, and I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it. The working hours are respected, and the tips are shared among the waiters, so it is possible to make some extra money as well. I'm truly grateful for this experience, and I hope to come back again soon.

This was an incredible experience! The place is family-run and you truly feel like part of the family. The work hours were great, leaving plenty of time to enjoy the beach daily. I met so many amazing travelers and got to hang out with the other volunteers! The food was out of this world—the chefs are seriously talented. Highly recommend, absolutely loved the experience and ended up extending my stay for an extra month!

I had an amazing experience during this volunteer. the host family made me feel at home from day one. I'm especially grateful to Alex — such a kind and genuine person. Himarë is a beautiful place and the local people are very warm. The accommodations were great and the food was delicious — you could feel the love in every meal. It was a pleasure to help at the restaurant and be part of their daily life. A beautiful cultural exchange I'll always remember. Thank you for everything!
