It was a good experience, it is always fun and rewarding to be around the school. Sunny and Nami handle the organization and teaching very well, allowing us volunteers to focus on pronunciation and helping the school improve their language skills. The hours are from 5:30 to 9pm. The Amy house is very clean, it is an hostel with all the pros and cons, though the limited dining options nearby can be a challenge. I met some nice travelers. You do have a lot of free time so during the week you can visit few of the UNESCO wonders which are situated around 10 km from Ninh Binh.

Volunteering at the school has been such a wholesome experience. Sunny and her family made feel at home since day one, her little daughter lighted up my days there. It was very pleasant to be around them. Sunny was flexible in terms of the volunteer days to accommodate sightseeing and helped me in everything I needed. The place is spotless. The school is well equipped. the school are eager to learn, incredible well-behaved, smart and easy to interact with. Nami is a great teacher, devoted to the school and pleasant to be around, thanks I have learnt loads. Highly recommended!

This experience was great, Sunny and her family are so unbelievably kind and generous. The teaching was more assisting with pronounciation and joining in with activities. I really enjoyed it. We had LOTS of time to explore Ninh Binh city. Definitely lived like a local. Amy house is great we met lots of other travelers. Our room was very spacious, comfortable and had airconditioning. The bun cha was incredible! We had a blast, feel free to ask me anything of you're considering volunteering here.

Working at the school kid's English centre was an absolutely incredible experience. Sunny and her family are extremely generous, friendly and welcoming. They made sure we always had everything we needed to be comfortable, gave us great recommendations for what to do in Ninh Binh and always made us feel at home. The classrooms are well equipped, and the children are eager to learn and very well behaved. We thoroughly enjoyed both the teaching and exploring Ninh Binh. If you're considering going, just do it. You won't regret it!
