Volunteers contribute $ 75 a week which covers their 3 meals , accommodation and transport to reach us from Rishikesh/Dehradun .

What you get

I'm travelling around the world and I have to say that, so far, none of the other experiences can compare with this one. The connection with the local people, their hospitality and culture was unique. The food was simply amazing. Teaching clases and playing sports with them was a soul satisfying experience.The breathtaking view of the Himalayas can't be described in words alone. Come and experience yourself. Definitely something that I would recommend to the travellers and my loved ones.

Working with Naveen was an experience far better then I've ever could imagine. He is a very enthusiastic, persuasive and passionate person and did everything to provide me the best days in community. We did some trekking, I could live a total immersive experience with the local community and also help in school. Also, I had plenty freedom to do what I would like to do during my days. You have to be very open minded to go to this place, once this is a very humble community - but it totally worth every single second spent there.

Was a great experience! The school is located in Barkot, a small village 6 hours by bus from Rishikesh (even the bus experience in Himalaias is great!). The kids are amazing! Very respectful, efforts and they really appreciate have English lessons. The family who host me is very very special! Friendly, kindness, they made everything for I felt like home. Naveen is responsible and flexible, your projects are to much interesting. Thanks for everything, beautiful people! I hope back soon!
