We are looking for a volunteer to help in the Surf Lodge. It is perfect for someone who wants to hang out and surf in Bundoran. Volunteers are responsible for guest check in at night, breakfast for guests in the morning, and generally looking after the surf lodge. In exchange we provide free accommodation and breakfast and surfing. We are happy to consider volunteers who would like to stay for the full summer season from May until August.

Bundoran quickly became a home away from home for me. The work was solid, the team and guests were friendly and sociable, and I feel that the dynamics between management and volunteers were quite adequate. My time in Bundoran was wonderful! The host and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. From the day I arrived I felt included and supported by everyone there.
The vibe at the hostel is relaxed and social, great for meeting people from all over the world. Also, being surrounded by other volunteers makes it easy to make friends.
Work hours are very respected and the team is always supportive and flexible when needed.
Overall an amazing experience to meet people, get to know Ireland and surf!!

I had the best time during my stay in Bundoran, if I can I will definitely come back some day. The working hours and tasks were exactly as agreed and the accommodation was very cozy. We had a lot of surfing opportunities and even as a beginner it was no problem to go surfing whenever. Everyone was so welcoming and it was easy making friends with the staff and the guests. Thanks so much to everyone who made it such an amazing stay♡ Can't recommend it enough:)

Amazing experience!! It doesn't matter the goal you are looking for, is worth it!! The owners and the manager are friendly, welcoming and helpful, tasks are the expected and the numbers of hours are extremely respected by the company. The environment in Surfco and Rougey makes you deeply feel part of a family. Thanks the company for the chance provided, specially to Monia (the manager), who has been an incredible mentor and who I have really learnt and enjoyed with! I will be back, no doubts!

It was my first experience and it was very positive; I spent seven weeks as part of SurfCo's staff. The tasks are simple, what was agreed is respected and the schedules are flexible. In my case, they adjusted my roster so I could attend my English classes. I had access to the team and to some surfing classes. They weren't as many as I expected, but I understand that it depends on the weather, the tides, and the availability at the moment. With the group of volunteers, a very social and family-like atmosphere was generated. I made friends and I have very nice memories. I recommend it to those looking for a peaceful volunteering experience.
