Because you live with the family you will probably end up 'working' more hours than noted but I enjoyed spending time with my family so I didn't mind :)

I am very satisfied with my experience! I was paired with a wonderful and welcoming family. I was provided with my own room and meals everyday. Plus, the location was very central and I was able to take Spanish classes nearby during my free time. I'm so glad I was able to have an immersive experience and connect with a family on the other side of the world!

I stayed for 1 month in Tolosa and absolutely loved the experience. I had a lovely family who cared for me very well, and I met a lot of locals through them. Didn’t speak any Spanish at the start which I was a little worried about but ended up being no issue at all and I improved heaps. Definitely recommend

I spent four unforgettable weeks in Galicia and had an amazing experience from start to finish. Martin and Susanna made me feel at home from the very first day.
Their kindness, generosity, and hospitality made this trip truly special. The communication with Nino was great as well. He made sure to stay in contact with both me and the family to make sure we're comfortable.
I learned so much about Galician culture, met wonderful people, and created memories I will always cherish. I couldn't have asked for better family , and I hope to come back one day.

Had an incredible 3-month stay in Galicia with my host family. Life-changing experience, and this will be a relationship I carry with me for a lifetime. Nino served as the middle man for me and the family and made the process very easy. He connected me with the family, I met them on a video call to confirm the stay and dates, then he verified the trip on Worldpackers. Homestay and meals all included. Going into this experience I wasn't sure what to expect, but Nino really picks great host families because I had a wonderful time! From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed into my family's household. The hours/schedule were flexible (for my family at least) and I was able to spend my off time exploring Barcelona and taking Spanish classes. Living with a host family was an amazing opportunity to really immerse myself in the local culture and I learned so much! I couldn't have asked for a better host family, and, genuinely, I had the time of my life!!!!
