The Experience

Since 1990, it has been an ecological place, a school to learn to live according to ancestral wisdom and a shamanic ashram. Currently we have reduced activities to focus on maintenance work and gardening until the end of the year. Let's work together so that many more people can come here to learn to connect with nature, the sacred, and to know themselves deeply.

The school is a magical and truly unique place. I highly recommend it to open minded people who would like to connect with nature and be in a energising space perfect for inner growth. I had the pleasure to work in the kitchen were I learned a lot about fresh produce from Bolivia and its benefits! I loved it!

🙌the school 🙌 an immersion in nature, a connection with the ancestral. the meals are made with love and very nutritious, new flavors that my palate savors as I learn to prepare foods that display all the colors and are healthy. there are small and large beings like camote 🐶 that fill you with energy and companionship 🙏🏻. the coexistence with the whole community was an immersion in learning and above all friendships that mark me in the heart, 🙌

The school is a magical and incredible place, really a school that puts you in control of your own life and opens space for personal growth. The place is enormous and comfortable, but the people who live there are even more singular and profound than we imagine. I recommend it for all the lessons and experiences it offers, in addition to a coherent and rewarding job for the project. Come with an open and flexible mind to face experiences different from those you are used to, but know that everyone makes a great effort to understand your point of view. Thanks!

It was my first volunteer experience; the hosts were welcoming, the tasks were maintenance, gardening, and cleaning; the best part is that the place is beautiful; unfortunately I had to cut my stay short, ahh! You’ll come across Camote, a cutie.

Janapacha is a very beautiful place, surrounded by trees and plants.
We were very well received and they gave us good accommodation. The work we did consisted of cleaning the garden with a machete, weeding, and working in the outdoor kitchen. There were more volunteers and community members and there was always a good atmosphere. We always had lunch and dinner together as a family. We want to thank you for the hospitality and the good moments lived in Janapacha.
