It was my first time volunteering abroad and I liked it so much. I’d say it was one of my best life experiences. People in the hostel were so welcoming and nice, which made it easy to settle in and make friends. People usually stay for months and it's a small hostel, so it feels like a small family. The shift was not difficult, but sometimes it could be physically demanding. I had so much fun for a month and I never regret choosing Landing Pads! Thank you so much to Aiden, Matt, our crew and all LP people for all this hospitality ❤️

Amazing experience, not just the fact that I practiced the language. Is about making friends and different cultures. Also gave me more experience in hostels. Matt and Aiden were the best trainers.

I had a really good time being a volunteer at LP!!!! The tasks included housekeeping and some receptionwork. Matt showed me everything beforehand and even made some trainingvideo's. Since its a small hostel you're mostly in your own and they give you a lot of trust :) i really enjoyed the hostel, the people and contributing to this environment!!

My experience at the hostel in Brunswick was really positive. At first, it feels like a lot of work, but everything is actually very well organised. Matt is very used to working with volunteers, with clear instructions and task sheets, so you always know what to do and quickly get into the rhythm.

The system with room credit makes this volunteer role compatible with having a job on the side. The atmosphere is amazing, it really feels like a small family. I would definitely recommend this experience, especially when first arriving in Australia.

Thank you so much, Marine, for your kind words and for the time and effort you have put into the hostel.

It has been great having you with us, and we really appreciate your help with the day-to-day running of the hostel. We are glad to hear that you found the role well organised, with clear task sheets and instructions, and that the atmosphere felt like a small family.

Thanks again for being part of the Landing Pads Brunswick community. We really appreciate having you here. thanks Matt
