I had to find a host last minute due to other hosts canceling after lockdown restrictions came into place - Fabian and the team opened up their hostel to me, welcoming me with open arms and giving me a refuge even though they were not operating at full capacity. Amazing hostel and location (walking distance from train station), great team and beautiful city - I hope to return as soon as we can all travel again! Thank you guys once again!

It has been a great experience staying in the ASH. They're an amazing host with awesome staff and many facilities at your disposal. The location is just perfect for going out in the beautiful city of Antwerp or taking a train/bus for short trips elsewhere in Belgium and the Netherlands, or even to Paris and London. The work during shifts is quite easy and relaxed, but don't be surprised if you have to jump out of bed to turn off the fire alarm or answer the emergency phone every once in a while. Oh and make sure to try some of the Belgian beers in the Hostel's bar!

The Ash is a great hostel with a real good infrastructure, everything looks clean and comfy. The staff are great and respectful, that's why I'd like to thank especially Inge, Ben, Fleur, Sukya and Ziggy for being so nice to be all the time, you guys were great. Another point to mention is about the others volunteers who were so cool and I'm pretty sure that I made friends for all my life. About the work, normally it is pretty easy, but sometimes it can be a little hard, but it's something that you can handle. By the way, Antwerp is a beaultiful city, I'm pretty sure you're going to have fun!

At The Ash was super cool, I had fun, I met a lot of people, made friends, hung out with the staff, I had a great time.
You have an schedule and a lot of free time so you can manage some travels, walks, lazy days, whatever you feel fancy to do.
For me the tasks are very simple, the hostel is close to everything.
TIP: THE LAST WEDNESDAY of each month some museums are FOR FREE!!

THANK YOU SO MUCH for everything I am still having an amazing time!!
You guys are amazing! :D

Great experience, people and partners. Totally recommended!!
