The Experience
To creat a food forest, brew beer or build cabine, w are looking for handy woman or man :) We work normaly 5 days /weeks depending weather. You will prepare the treehouse for the gest. Cook by turn and enjoy also, other adventure. Coming from childhood dream of building an Oasis, we start a project on a terraced land, on the slope off a mountain.

I loved staying here, all the people are really nice and made me feel welcome. The work was tiring but after lunch there was all the time to relax or making my plans.

If you're lucky and worthy of staying you'll have a great time! Unfortunately it wasn't my case and me and the host didn't connect at all. Was supposed to stay 3 weeks, ended up being there 5 days because he kicked me out. He also cancelled 2 other people the day before they were coming all because he hadn't organized the stay of the volunteers. The food and the place itself is great but I felt uncomfortable and not wanted from the first minute. He will maybe respond saying i wasn't equiped for the tasks which is just a lie, i gave my everything, he just disliked me and wasn't organized.

The project is lovely place in the middle of nowhere. I had very good time in here. We were doing lot of things So the work is different every day. Fred is a very nice person he helped us with everything what we needed. We had a lot of fun with him and also with two amazing brazilian guys that we met. Fred is doing the best beer in the world and every month he does pizza party in Castelo. He was taking us to a lot of events around (like beer garden or party of watching stars). He is doing all od this fantastic things alone so sometimes he is a bit messy but who is not.Thanks for everything

My first experience and it was lovely! The place itself is beautiful and you can also explore all the nature around. Frederic is really nice person and you can talk with him about everything. Also there are 3 lovely cats with you and 1 cute dog in Fred's house. Sometimes it's little chaotic or you work little more, than 5 hours, but the jobs are very interesting and funny, so it's cool. Go there:))
