Yoyos 🧡 This place is incredible! Gee is an absolutely amazing host and him and his staff really become like a second family. Volunteering here gives you a great balance between volunteering and holidaying. This was my first Worldpackers experience and I really cannot recommended Yoyos and Gee enough. If you want a social place, good surf, tropical paradise and to be surrounded by amazing people this is the place for you. I cannot wait to come back 🫶

The hostel is a transition hostel for guests mainly flying in and out of Sri Lanka, so it is quite quiet. You will have a lot of free time, as you need to be in the hostel most of the day to wait to check in people and potential guests that walk in, without a booking. The family you stay with are very friendly and hospitable, and make you feel very welcome.
