I only spent 2 weeks in the hotel, but from the first day, they welcomed me warmly. The work was easy, and they were very patient while teaching me. The place is beautiful, if you like nature, this is the perfect spot! ✨ You can go for runs, bike to the beach, or take a bus to Lagos or Lisbon on your days off. I truly appreciate the experience: I tried new foods, watched movies with Ana's sister, swam and played at the beach with the other volunteers, and had a birthday lunch with the whole crew and Ana's family. I will keep these memories close to my heart. 💖💖 Thank you very much!

It's the best choice if you are a beginner volunteer and worried about wp experience. Ana and jorge are generous and welcomed when i arrived the hotel so that I can feel cozy and adapt well in new environment. They also encourage and respect volunteers to be able to get some experiences in portugal. And It was so nice to set my plans what i would do for traveling the town because I could get my work schedule in advance. The place I've stayed was also nice and the town was amazing place to feel the atmosphere of portugal nature.

I was a little bit nervous because it was my first experience on Worldpackers, but I was welcomed with open arms and felt really comfortable! Jorge and Ana were awesome hosts! They made me feel at home from the first day and were very kind and they are two of the most genuinely caring, and considerate people I've ever met, and very intersting to get to know. I'm so glad to have crossed paths. Our work was made clear and our free time respected. The place is magical. The tasks varied and never got boring. This experience will always have a very special place in my heart, thank you ♥

I arrived in the hotel stressed and I left with a big smile on my face, a magic happened there. Thank you ❤️ A few information that future volunteers may appreciate: You can reach the beaches (wild and beautiful) by bike but they are not so near and there are hills on the way. In 20 minutes by bike you reach the near town, where there are supermarkets, pharmacies etc. The food is very good, mainly vegetarian. Shifts are intense: they really need the work of the volunteers to run the place. Finally, do not get involved in the internal dynamics of the staff and you'll have a wonderful time!

The hotel is a very special place! It was wonderful to be welcomed there as a first time volunteer. Ana and Jorge go out of their way to ensure their volunteers feel comfortable, and experience the beautiful nature and opportunities that the area has to offer. I am really grateful for them, and my time volunteering here. Delicious home cooking, a great hardworking team, access to a lovely slice of the Portuguese countryside. As long as your expectations are reasonable (e.g., basic but comfortable lodging, work well during shifts), it is a great experience.
