I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend it to other volunteers! Andrew our manager was communicative and helpful, and the workload was reasonable, usually 1.5–2 hours starting at 8 AM (make sure to be thorough) The accommodations are basic, so come with realistic expectations about cleanliness and upkeep. I loved meeting other travelers and making new connections. Staying in the guest house was also a highlight; the slower pace encouraged me to explore places outside central Tokyo. I'd happily return. I would absolutely recommend the guest house to anyone looking for an experience in Japan and wanting to meet new people. This is my second time visiting the guest house and they've always treated me just as well as they did on my first day. Working hours are respected, and if anything unexpected comes up, they're always very flexible and willing to help. You usually share a room with someone of the same gender, and there are shared bathrooms and a kitchen for the volunteers. Activities are also organised for the volunteers from time to time, and there's usually a great atmosphere. Many thanks to everyone! I hope to see you all again soon. 🩷 ありがとうございます
