Linda and Stanley were lovely wholesome hosts. Sit down dinners every night, check. Re-envisioning healthy food consumption like making yogurt, and hummus from scratch, check. While downtime feels limited it's because there always a lot of socializing, catching sunsets, going into town for markets, ice cream, or chopping wood for fun. Taking care of the animals and being so close to nature and all the different varieties of plants Linda has in her garden is truly awakening and reminds us all that farming is not a hobby but a life skill. <3

Josie was a joy to have on the farm. She is always cheerful, and always happy to bog in. She is a great worker, and never complains. She will be an asset wherever she goes and whatever she does .

The farm became a short-term home in 3 weeks. Three weeks of routine, time in nature, the insight into the (diverse) farm life and the travel time-out did us a world of good. This was also thanks to John and Linda, who gave us a very warm welcome and made us feel part of the family, but also Robby:) A highlight is the daily dinner together

I spent 3 weeks at the farm, and I had an amazing time. John & Linda are very welcoming, taking you into their home and their life. Evening dinners are amazing, Linda and John are both amazing storytellers, and they do have a lot of storys to share. You will laugh a lot!! The farm work varies, so it doesn't get boring. It can be physically challenging, if you are not used to that kind of work. But your body gets used to it and it feels good to be active. So thanks to Linda and John, as well es to Robbie, Lara and Jess, who made the experience as wonderful as it was!

I had a great experience at the farm. John and Linda are really lovely and sympathetic people. You will share all together the dinner in their house. It was always a great time. They always try for you to feel comfortable. The work can be physical and with the hot weather coming be aware that it can sometimes be hard. I really enjoyed my time over there and I have beautiful memories in my mind.
