Brazil

Well, the hostel itself has some problems that has to do with the present situation of it.
So, if you're looking for a place where you'll have quiet and be always comfortable, this hostel is not the place. But if you're the kind of person that can adapt to the environment and like to see things happening all the time (not just good things), I think this place has it. I could learn lots of stuff while I was there, talk to nice people, go to really nice places but I also had troubled times , what means that life happened, haha. So I think it was worth it. And don't be tricked by the photos!;)

That was the worst experience ever! The hostel is not the same on the pictures. The manager Lorento and all staffs were awesome. They are the best part there. The only problem is the administrator Maurício. He treats us as slavers. I hurted my knee because of him. I applied for Front Desk, but he gave me hard work in the restaurant. When I got a promotion to Front Desk, He removed one of my dayoff. Then I left the place before the end of my stay.

This was the worst world packers experience so far, when I arrived it was clear to me that the manager did not care about the hostel or the people that worked there for that matter, when I arrived there I went with the idea that I was gonna work at the hostel but instead they had me cleaning dishes for the restaurant, I didn't do anything for the hostel, also the food they gave us was disgusting Several times My vegetables were super old and to borderline spoiled, I wouldn't feed that to my dog or anyone. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. This place is awful

My first experience as a worldpacker couldn't have been better! The hostel is comfortable, the location is great and the work was pretty easy, with flexible working hours, which gave me enough time to explore the city. I also met amazing people there! Everyone was very friendly and fun and we had great times. Totally recommend it :)
