My stay was very complicated. I enjoyed the hostel’s location, it’s close to the beautiful Pelourinho, and it’s really easy to go out and explore. The hostel has a lot of charm, the plants downstairs and murals are beautiful. My hours and tasks were never talked out and this caused problems. She grew angry, I tried to express my concerns and feelings about the respect I was receiving there. The owner wasn’t open to listening to my issues, I had to diffuse her anger and at one point she was wagging her finger in my face. I feel she could improve on having open conversations. I left early.

My stay with Neuza was wonderful! She did a great job at finding tasks that are suited for the individual. Most of the time I painted. Occasionally would do other tasks such as cleaning. Nothing was excessive. At the time there was a group of guys who he rented the majority of the hostel and they were fun to be with. The room I was given was large and well furnished. The location was close to many sites such as Pelourinho.

Overall, my stay at Hostel Torre was very good. Neuza is very passionate about the hostel and will work hard to ensure you enjoy your stay :)

The Hostel as a whole was a pretty good experience, and gave me the opportunity to practice my Portuguese. Nueza is also a very accommodating host.

I love the location because I could walk to pelourinho back and forth easily. Take the bus to any place. the hostel is in center of town. The hostel owner is very easy going and lovable. Talking with her has helped me improved my Portuguese. I recommend this hostel and can't wait to visit back soon

The hostel is in the city center of Salvador perfect to discover the city. Neuza is a owner really nice. She is welcoming and always helpful. The tasks are easy and Neuza is really flexible and understable. You have time to go out and discover the city. It was a pleasure to help her! I recommend!
