The Experience

Our hostel has a very unique garden that needs special care, bushes that need triming, leaves that need to be picked up, and watering everything. Also we wouldn't mind fresh ideas for a rooftop garden project we would like to have.

Posada de Colores was my first WP experience and it was the perfect first experience. Armando is a great host—he communicates well, is very attentive and provides a flexible work schedule. The hostel is in a great location; right in town, across from a cute park, and very near mountains & water. Would absolutely recommend this experience.

This was my first Worldpackers experience and it was good. My tasks were simple. My Spanish is not very good but another volunteer helped me out with my Spanish. In return, I helped her with
her English. I communicated with Armando mainly through text. Just be aware of the month you choose to volunteer here. It was very cold at night and there was no heat.

It was great! I had a great first worldpackers experience; I spent the most time working directly with Mayra (manager) who is very kind and helpful; you will enjoy your time among this diligent and friendly staff. Mariana and Armando are great! Hope you get the chance to meet them during your stay.
If you get the chance take the opportunity to visit beautiful Santiago N.L. and to live a great experience in this great place (Posada de Colores). I would definitely go back.
