Our form of living is simply rural and modest without luxury and pretension as well as having some places to meditate and tune into the energy of the environment. The volunteering is only an exchange for accomodation. We live in a permanent relationship with nature and our daily work allows us to marvel even more each day at the beauty of our environment.

I had a great experience staying here. The house is surrounded by nature and very far from everything, making it perfect for slowing down and truly resting. It's high in the mountains and can get quite cold after 4 p.m. since the common areas are outdoors. Meals are either cooked together with vegetables from the garden or prepared by Aleja, who is an excellent cook. The work schedule is very relaxed (around 3 hours a day), and Aleja and Chris are very understanding. It's an ideal place for calm, slow living, lots of sleep, and practicing Spanish with the family and other volunteers.

I'm writing the review after returning from my backpacking trip in South America and staying at the community was one of the really memorable parts of my trip. The farm has a nice, laid-back atmosphere as Ale and Cris are so lovely. The animals are great too. Everyone eats together so it's really sociable..in short, I would definitely recommend volunteering here!

Very genuine and helpful people. Had an amazing experience and enjoyed learning about Colombian culture. The hosts don't speak English, but are still excellent at communicating.
