Totalmente recomendable! This was my first volunteering experience and I'm glad I did it in Al-the guest house. The work is not difficult and the tasks are exactly like it is written in description of the host. The hostel has an amazing location near the main sights. Córdoba is also perfectly situated for exploring Andalucia. The hostel is chill, it is possible to meet a lot of travelers, but don't expect it to be like some party hostel. The only thing that was missing is AC in volunteer's room. If you can't stand the heat, I would avoid summer. It is a very beautiful hostel with nice workers. Gracias!

Totally loved my time here! The schedule was great (2.5 hours a day/6 days), the staff kind & respectful, and the place perfectly located. I appreciated that we were provided with sufficient food for breakfast, that we shared some meals together and that the other 4 volunteers were all friendly and nice. I've had great conversations, visited many beautiful places (pay attention to what's free for EU citizens or on certain days of the week) and improved my Spanish (which is kind of a must). If you're a light sleeper, bring ear plugs. Other than that, all u need is good vibes. Gracias a todos! ❤

My experience in the guest house was wanderful. I felt very welcomed since the beginning. The work hours and the job was fair. Due personal reasons I had to finish my stay earlier, but I'm very grateful within the team! Thanks a lot Ana, Patri, Paqui, and also Diego, Cami and Rodri!

We had a really great time at AlKatre Hostel! The work mainly consists of cleaning and sometimes maintenance tasks like painting furniture, walls etc. but it's very easy to do and the hours are very fair. Ana is a really great host and made sure we felt at home in the hostel. It's the perfect place to go if you want to explore the beautiful city of Córdoba (as the hostel is literally one minute from the Mezquita) and meet new people.

The tasks are simple, and the agreed working hours are respected. It's a good place if you're looking to discover the city during your free time. Unfortunately, the experience didn't work out well for me personally, as the listing mentioned a night shift that didn't exist. While the host initially said it wouldn't be a problem and that there would be some flexibility, my volunteering was ended after I couldn't follow the schedule once.
