The Experience

We have a hostel in Füssen, near Munich. Füssen is a marvellous village in the Alps mountain in the south part of Germany. Is a very beautiful touristic area with a famous Disney castle Neuschwanstein, pretty nature, and clean air. You will help us out with cleaning our guestrooms & bathrooms and sometimes doing breakfast & laundry.

I was supposed to stay for two weeks. But after a couple of days it really started to feel like home and I didn't want to leave. Thankfully Aga let me stay for another week. Everything in there was great. I could explore the beautiful Füssen, the castles and the nature a lot, since the work wasn't hard and on some days we were done by 12 p.m. We had to change bedsheets, put them in a washing machine, hang them out to dry and after a couple of hours, bring them back inside. It was my first worldpackers experience and I really recommend it. Thank you for having me!

This was my first worldpaclers experience, and I couldn't reccomend it more. I stayed for 3 weeks, and greatly enjoyed my time at LA house. The work was very light, only around 3 hours in the mornings, sometimes more if there are many rooms in the hostel checking out. Work included cleaning rooms, stripping the beds, doing the laundry, and vacuuming. Lahdo and Aga are very friendly and seemed genuinely interested in whatever adventures I was up to! There is so much to do in Fussen as well, during my stay I rock climbed, hiked, and even went parasailing :) A great opportunity!

This was my first Worldpackers experience, and I honestly had such an amazing time! The hours were very reasonable, and I had plenty of time after work to explore the area and enjoy my time in Fussen. Lahdo and Aga are such amazing hosts they're both incredibly sweet and understanding. I felt very comfortable staying with them and would definitely recommend this experience to anyone considering it!

Overall we had a wonderful experience. Our hosts were very kind and accommodating, and in particular allowed us to move our days off to coincide with a visit from a friend. They allowed us to borrow bikes and gave us free bus passes which made exploring the surrounding area much easier. They also took the time to give us helpful insight/recommendations on nearby hikes which was greatly appreciated. The one note is the overall hotel is quite small so the kitchen is also used by the family as their office and is also very close to the guest's quarters which makes cooking a bit more difficult.
