I absolutely LOVED my stay at the project. It just felt right from the moment I got there - living in the middle of the forest surrounded by beautiful plants and flowers, hearing the parakeets and looking onto the volcano on a sunny day. It is insanely beautiful. The people are too, and I felt that I met some lifelong friends - both volunteers and the people living/working there. I also really enjoyed the work - feeding the animals and cleaning their pens, gardening, cooking etc. The only thing is that there isn't that much to do in the immediate area and no hot water in some cabins.

My experience in the project lasted 3 weeks and I had a great time ! The food is delicious and the amount is perfect, the work hours are respected and you can choose something to do depending on your energy and the connection to nature is amazing. However, your experience definitely depend on the volunteers working with you, do not expect a strong leadership from a « manager », you have to be quite independent, be able to figure out things by yourself. Thank you to every volunteer that i met and Hannah, Margret, Steven and Maya for all the good energy you put into this place. ❤️

I highly recommend the project to anyone looking to meet and bond with other travelers and locals. If you like to hike there is a beautiful trail on the property and the garden is perfect for plant lovers.

I had so much fun, I was only there for about a week, but I learned a lot about life on a farm, living & working in a community and met so many great people. I definitely would want to come back to learn some more.
