I absolutely loved my time here. I originally applied to be here for two weeks and ended up staying a month. The team was caring and welcoming and the other volunteers became a family. the hostel is a cute little city (as much as you can call anything in the highlands a city) with reliable buses and a convenient location to get to the islands. There's also a couple of beaches nearby if you fancy a swim as myself and a couple of the other volunteers so often did. The hours were reasonable and you had plenty of time for yourself! I'd highly recommend volunteering here!

This was my first Worldpackers experience and I really couldn't think of a better first one! The manager, Jake, was so kind and welcoming from the second I met him, and the other volunteers were amazing as well. The tasks were manageable and clearly laid out and the working hours were respected! the hostel is a wonderful little town with so many hidden gems. My only regret is that I didn't arrive earlier in the season.

This place is great! This is one place I plan on coming back to. The building and the things inside are a bit older than preferred, but it works. This place always seems to have a good crew. Special shoutout to Jake the manager, and Lin who'll most likely be there next year. Absolute Legends! The hostel is in a great place for travelling to the islands, going to the woods, or just having a dram of whiskey at the distillery! All in all, the work was easy, well managed, and very reasonable. I feel privileged to have spent time here.

In the month I was here, I had the best time and honestly felt like I had found a family here! the hostel is a small enough town to have local charm but big enough that there's things to do ( like go to Markie Dans ;)). The schedule was organised in advance so we could plan to see all the beautiful things in the area and was very flexible. The times of the shifts were respected and the work was clear; very easy for volunteers to settle in. The work environment was great and you get to know the other volunteers so well from staying in the staff dorm.
