My time at CBO was nothing short of life changing! I have made some of the closest friends I have ever had, and have made some pretty incredible memories. The shifts aren't bad and you have SO much free time. Izzy and Romane were amazing managers, and they definitely made the atmosphere very welcoming and enjoyable from the very beginning. The schedule is also extremely flexible and they work with you to see what works best for you each week. I will never forget my 4 months in Oxford and will always be incredibly grateful for the friends and memories I have made while I was here π #CBF

I was part of the hostel Family for a little over 3 months. The work is just as described and there is always somebody to support you if it gets too overwhelming. However, the best part of this experience is the people you get to work and live with. From the day you arrive and get welcomed by this kind and funny team it feels like home. The manager Izzy creates an open and nonjudgmental environment and makes sure that everybody is comfortable. Izzy and Romane are by far the best managers I ever had. I will never forget the fun I had and the friends I made here :))

Everyone in the hostel was very welcoming, kind and sociable since the beginning of the experience. It's been a great experience for me, Oxford is a great city, Izzy is a marvelous manager, I couldn't have asked for a better manager! Her and the other volunteers hospitality and kindness made Oxford feel like a home away from home. I really enjoying my time in Oxford and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a chance to discover this part of the UK! CBF π«Άπ½

About the hostel, I can say that I am very happy to have chosen this place as my first experience with Worldpackers. The amount of work is fair, the schedules are very respected and they give you a lot of flexibility. The highlight, though, is definitely Izzy and the volunteers who create a friendly and fun environment where it's easy to feel welcome. I am very grateful for my time in the hostel. I will always remember it :)
